For our client we are looking for a candidate for the position of Purchasing Specialist (K/M). The Purchasing Specialist (K/M) supports the Purchasing Manager in building and running a structured purchasing workflow for ordering and receiving parts, materials, and consumables. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in operational environments, enjoys creating order out of chaos, and can follow and improve standardized procedures. The offer applies to permanent work.ZAKRES OBOWIĄZKÓW:

- Order processing, create and issue purchase orders based on approved internal requests
- Import coordination, manage operational steps for importing goods, especially from China, including shipment tracking and document preparation
- Customs clearance support, prepare and verify customs documentation, coordinate with customs brokers, and ensure compliant clearance
- Receiving coordination, track deliveries, verify incoming goods, and ensure proper documentation and handover to warehouse
- Data entry & system accuracy, maintain accurate ERP/purchasing system data for orders, receipts, and discrepancies
- Operational support , assist production, maintenance, and warehouse teams with material availability and order follow‑ups
- Documentation control, maintain purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, customs documents, and receiving reports
- Process compliance, follow established SOPs and contribute to process improvements
- Supplier communication, handle routine communication such as order confirmations and delivery updates (no negotiations)
- Issue resolution, support resolution of receiving discrepancies, missing items, or customs‑related issues

WYMAGANIA:

- Min. 5 years of experience of operational purchasing experience in manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments
- Fluent English is mandatory
- Experience with customs clearance, understanding of import documentation, HS codes, duties, and working with customs brokers
- Experience importing goods from China, familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documents (BL, CI, PL), and lead‑time management
- Understanding of purchasing workflows including ordering, receiving, and documentation
- ERP or purchasing system skills – ability to maintain accurate data
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Ability to work in a brownfield or evolving environment with limited initial structure
- Good communication skills for internal coordination and routine supplier interactions
